The holiday season is a wonderful time to share our love of knitting with those who could use a little extra warmth in their lives. Two organizations in particular, Live Violence Free and the Tahoe Resource Center, are currently supporting Caps for Kids, an effort to give warm knit hats to the kids who need them.
Want to use your knitting needles (or croquet hooks) to help? Create a cap using any yarn, in any style, and donate it by December 10th to the South Lake Tahoe Public Library. Any size hat is welcome; there is a special need for hats for older kids.
Need help finding a pattern or selecting a yarn? Stop by and let us help!
Happy knitting!
